  “Science of Defeating Malaria” will be held in Abuja, Nigera from June 7-13, 2026.

• Accommodations

  Where will we stay in Abuja, Nigeria?

  The organizers will share the university-negotiated room rates for the course hotel with incoming course participants.  

• Airport Transfers

  How will we get to the course hotel from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport?

  The organizers will share a shuttle schedule for airport transfers to and from the course hotel with incoming course participants. 

• Staying connected

  How will we stay connected for updates about the course?

  Once accepted into the “Science of Defeating Malaria,” all Course Participants gain access to the course application, available on mobile, tablet, or desktop. The course app is your ‘go-to’ resource for all matters related to the leadership course, including networking. Before, during, and after the course, all participants will use the course app to connect!

  When will I be notified of my acceptance into the leadership course?

  Nominations are underway. If you’ve been invited to apply, you will be notified regarding your status by March 2026.
